Cancer Molecular Biology Lab was established as part of the Dept. of Bioengineering at Ege University, Turkey. This is a young, fastly grooming lab that has travelled quite a path since its creation. The research activities are mainly focused on prostate cancer with future plans to pursue research work in the field of mammary and gastric cancers as well. The lab is well equipped with required instruments and the techniques to carry out quality research in the field of cancer biology. Currently there are six PhD, and a master students working in the lab. Funding is maintained by internal research grants as well as from government resources such as TUBİTAK to continue an un-cut supply of materials and resources. |
